World Press Photo VR

At Canon we've been inspiring and enabling storytellers for 80 years. And we're always looking for beautiful and creative ways for tales to be told.

Canon irista already provides ways for photographs to share galleries - on screens on in high quality print. But later this year we'll be introducing many more exciting ways to tell stories. And one of them will be using virtual reality.

Tonight at Canon night at the World Press Photo festival 2017 in Die Nieuwe Klerk in Amsterdam, David and I will be showing a preview of a VR experience some of the team created, to help tell the stories behind some of the winning photographs.

The experience was crafted after feedback we got from a VR gallery prototype we shared last year at Photokina 2016. And we're always looking for more feedback. We'll soon have the experience available for download from the Gear VR Oculus Store, and we're keen to hear your thoughts.

If you'd like to be part of the future of storytelling at Canon irista, please write us at VR@irista.com.

We'd love to hear from you!
